THE EDEN GALA DINNER 2025
On a crisp winter evening in New York, the foundation celebrated its first anniversary with an inaugural gala dinner that brought together its community in a spirit of warmth, generosity, and shared purpose. The event welcomed artists, curators, gallerists, collectors, and art professionals, underscoring a collective belief in the essential role of the arts.
The foundation extends its deepest gratitude to its cultural partners, The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts, Harlan & Weaver and Residency Unlimited, whose continued support strengthens its mission and vision. Sincere thanks are also extended to the gala dinner sponsor, Flavors by Phoebe, for its generosity and meaningful partnership.
Looking ahead, the foundation remains committed to advancing its mission, nurturing artistic and curatorial practices, and building lasting support for artists and curators through ongoing collaborations within the art community.
Private Tour at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM)
As Art Basel Miami Beach 2025 drew to a close, we marked the moment with a thoughtfully paced gathering at the Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM), bringing together guests for an intimate, curator-led experience grounded in conversation, context, and shared discovery.
The day centered on Language and Image, a photography exhibition drawn from the Jorge M. Pérez Collection, which examines how artists expand and challenge the medium through experimentation, narrative, and form. We also experienced Elliot & Erick Jiménez: El Monte, the twin artists’ first solo museum exhibition, featuring compelling new works informed by Lucumí spirituality and Afro-Caribbean heritage. Moving through PAMM’s permanent collection, we engaged with Latinx, Afro-diasporic, and Caribbean perspectives that resonate deeply with
Miami’s cultural landscape. We concluded the afternoon with lunch at Verde, overlooking Biscayne Bay—an easy continuation of dialogue sparked by the art itself. Gatherings like this affirm the importance of creating space for slow looking, meaningful exchange, and shared reflection — where art becomes not just something we view, but something we experience together, in dialogue with place, history, and one another.
Breakfast At THE EDEN
Gathering during this year Mid-Autumn Festival, a time that celebrates reunion and togetherness, our Breakfast at THE EDEN became a reflection of those very values within the arts. Over coffee and conversation, we honored the 2025 Artists Now Award and Curatorial Research Fellowship recipients, alongside the selection committees and supporters who make the Foundation possible.
This morning of connection reminded us that art flourishes when rooted in dialogue, trust, and collective care. As we look ahead, the Foundation reaffirms its mission to nurture a community where creativity is supported, experimentation is welcomed, and new cultural narratives can take shape.
2025 Summer Luncheon & Art Trip in the Out East
This summer, our foundation welcomed friends and supporters to the East End of Long Island for a fundraising luncheon and art excursion celebrating art, architecture, and culture.
Long Island’s East End has long been a hub for visionary artists such as Jackson Pollock, Lee Krasner, Willem de Kooning, Cindy Sherman, Sean Scully, and many others, establishing it as a vital center for American modern and contemporary art.
Highlights of the day included acclaimed artist Sarah Sze’s book talk at the Peter Marino Art Foundation, where guests explored Marino’s renowned collection of contemporary and modern art, antiques, and rare objects. A centerpiece was his special curation of 90 works by Wolfgang Tillmans, offering a rare look at the artist’s groundbreaking photography. The excursion continued with a restorative lunch at Wölffer Estate Vineyard, enjoying Long Island’s rich winemaking traditions and local farm-to-table cuisine.
The day culminated at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill. Designed by Herzog & de Meuron, the light-filled structure blends seamlessly with its meadow-like surroundings, creating a dialogue between art, architecture, and nature. Guests explored the museum’s extensive collection of East End artists and standout exhibitions, including Sean Scully: The Albee Barn, Montauk and Shirin Neshat: Born of Fire, the artist’s first New York–area museum exhibition in over 20 years.
This special gathering not only celebrated the Hamptons’ vibrant artistic legacy but also raised vital support for the foundation’s mission to nurture creativity and expand access to the arts. Proceeds will directly benefit art education and public programs.
Silver Arts Projects Visit
Our foundation was honored to be invited to visit Silver Art Projects, a prestigious artist residency program located at 4 World Trade Center. Founded in 2019, Silver Art Projects is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing contemporary art by providing artists with free, year-long studio space and comprehensive professional development opportunities.
The program is deeply committed to promoting equity and inclusivity in the arts, fostering an environment where diverse voices and perspectives can thrive. This mission strongly resonates with the values of our foundation, as both organizations are dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices in the arts and expanding access to opportunities that can transform artistic careers.
